Deleting your Splendo account

You can delete your account at any time. This is the same for a guest account and for an account you sign in to. It cannot be undone.

In the app

• iOS: Profile → Settings → Delete Account.
• Android: Settings → Advanced → Delete Account.

Once you confirm, the account is deleted straight away.

If you cannot open the app

Email info@splendo.app and ask us to delete your account. Write from the email address the account uses, or, if it has none (a guest account), tell us the name it shows. We reply and confirm once it is done.

What is deleted

• Your name, your email address and your profile picture.
• The sign-in methods linked to the account — email, Apple, Google. Signing in with any of them again starts a new, empty account.
• Payment details you saved so that others could pay you.
• The devices registered for your notifications, and your notification settings.
• Payment reminders you sent or received.

Every session ends: you are signed out on every phone and browser.

What stays, and why

Expenses, payments, comments and other content you added to a group stay in that group, because they are part of other people's balances. An expense you paid for is also a record of what everyone else owes, and erasing it would silently change what they owe. Those entries no longer carry your name: they show “Deleted User”.

Usage reports are not linked to any account, so none of them can be traced back to you; they are removed after 90 days whether or not you delete your account.
